December 22, 2024 Reflections of a heretic
When the value of money is placed above human life, it means there is no respect for the person of others.
An evil and sick sleep

Almost everyone looks only for confirmation of what they already think.
Not comparison with others.
Over time, I realized how little people want to communicate with each other.
Many of them talk about “revolution“, but what they really want is confirmation.
But they only want traditional validation.
They do not want growth, they want mummification.
Not a rebirth, but a sarcophagus to lock themselves in.
Not change, but a restoration of the past.
A mass of rabid dogs from which nothing good will ever come.
Except a global immobility marked by a microscopic (and useless) individualistic frenzy.
Their revolution consists, at best, in wanting to eliminate the neighbor who bought the new car.
Or storming some shop or supermarket to get something “free” and without any effort.
A bad and sick sleep.
The end of a dream
People have no more dreams.
They do not want to improve themselves, to be more lovable, kinder, more sociable.
They only want to be safe in houses that look like fortresses.
Protected by alarms and armored doors.
To eat, work, and enjoy mass-produced gadgets marked “exclusive and personalized model.”
Or driving cars that look like armored vehicles.
It is simply the end of the dream of a better world.
