October 6, 2024 Cat lovers
Now Chopin has a home, where for three years he has received all the love he lacked and so desperately needed.
Chopin – the kitten with the burnt tail
Sometimes the cruelty of human beings affects small, defenseless animals who suffer much abuse.
Dogs and cats abandoned on the streets after being subjected to gratuitous violence or living in absolute degradation since their birth.
A friend of mine accidentally found Chopin, a little kitten about a month old, in the middle of the garbage, covered in coffee grounds, completely wet and very scared.
His tail was completely burnt.
Someone had set it on fire with a lighter before throwing the little kitten in the horrible place where he was found.
Just looking at him made my heart ache, the way he was.
The kitten was trembling with fear, cowering and not wanting to be approached by anyone.
My friend tried to show the kitten that she was there to help him.
She had a really hard time taking him in (during a torrential downpour, with thunder and lightning) because he did not trust anyone, afraid of the behavior of the people he had known.
At home, after cleaning him up, she gave him food to feed himself.
The kitten looked around, intimidated, but quickly realized that he should trust those who adopted him.
Now Chopin has a home where he has been getting all the love he needed for the past three years.
Oh, he also has a huge and very furry tail.
