Externalization and consumption dominate.
Interiority. In the virtual world it is little considered, if not ignored

The “virtual” world should be interiority, substance, essence, and not (only) exteriority.
When we compare ourselves, we don’t know who is on the other side (unless we are in a videoconference, of course) ; and if I have to give my personal opinion, I don’t care at all about appearance, socio-economic status, and whatever else is usually considered by so-called “ordinary” people.
Of course, some basic information is necessary ; but personally, I am interested in inwardness, communication skills, culture, and the way it can arouse emotions in me.
I have always been – as I wrote in my brief introduction – a great listener.
My mother used to spend hours telling me fairy tales, and listening to them, savoring them, getting excited about them, was how I metabolized them.
But what are fairy tales if not the ultimate expression of (so-called) virtuality ?
Indeed, in the so-called “virtual” world, one does not know how far fantasy goes and where reality begins.
But maybe this is not important.
Perhaps it is much more important that by reading a few lines, a few words, one can feel emotions that envelop the soul and subsequently provoke deep reflection.
This is how I personally understand the “virtual” world.
But in the virtual world, the inward is little considered or ignored.
In fact, externality and consumerism dominate, favoring form over substance and fostering a world that revolves around appearance.
Just like the “real” world.
