How can we avoid wasting the only chance we have ?
Life and its meaning

Life is not something we have “earned”.
Therefore, when we become adults, we should do something to give meaning to our existence.
It doesn’t matter what it is.
But any action that is not for our own benefit is definitely a good action.
Because life is not a family business that is handed down from one dynasty to another, it is not a seat in parliament that is only used to receive a salary, it is not the accumulation of capital in tax havens by those whose only goal is to get richer and richer, it is not wasting time exclusively on small talk or preferring to remain blind so as not to be bothered by the many problems that “do not concern”.
How many pretend not to see in order to have the alibi of not being able to act, but then become hyperactive when it comes to making money ?
Can one be considered a “human being” who leaves no trace behind but his own meanness, showing that he is not worthy of the life he has received by pure chance ?
In order to truly live up to the gift we have been given, it is necessary to leave at least a testimony, even a small one, of our journey.
For example, we can try to help someone in need, or fight for social causes in an unselfish way.
We should avoid being insensitive spectators of the suffering of others.
But also, and most importantly, we should be able to transcend our own selfishness.
