People. It is important to be able to communicate in a way that others can understand

December 23, 2024 Reflections of a heretic

When we deal with people, let us remember that we are not dealing with beings endowed with logic.
We are dealing with creatures moved by emotion, creatures stirred by prejudice, and driven by pride and vanity.

It is important to be able to communicate in a way that others can understand.
One must be able to express one’s thoughts in a calm and balanced manner.

In this way it is possible to face a hostile audience.

People. Creatures moved by emotion
Each person is always different from everyone else…

It has often been pointed out to me that people can behave differently depending on who they are dealing with.
There can be many reasons for this.

In my opinion, however, each person is always different from everyone else.
Even though it is possible to standardize their behavior based on certain recurring patterns.

However, any external conditioning can often produce an opposite reaction.
In fact, every response is different.

There is no fixed rule.
This is true in every field.

In addition, transparency and clarity are very helpful.

Most importantly, always seeking dialog and rejecting extremism are the trump cards to play in any situation.

This is the only way to really overcome social inequalities.
By overcoming all prejudices.

All appearance (and no substance)

I have traveled a lot over the years.
I have lived in different parts of the world.

But good laws cannot change the education and especially the culture of those who are bound by stereotypes, the legacy of a very old past.

In these places, even seemingly educated people are hostages to total archaism.
Events so unbelievable that they defy the imagination.

These countries certainly know how to sell themselves very well (especially abroad).
They tend to care a lot about their media image.

All appearance, no substance.
In short, the apotheosis of political correctness.
