December 13, 2024 Reflections of a heretic
Learn to truly appreciate your imperfections.
And you’ll start to be happy about them.
Perfectly imperfect. Learn to value your individuality

We are constantly told that nobody is perfect.
But we are human.
And that is what makes us imperfect and perfect at the same time.
It is important to have high expectations.
But if those expectations are unrealistic, failure is just around the corner.
Knowing that we are imperfectly perfect is one way to be realistic.
You have to keep your feet on the ground.
It is unrealistic to expect to deliver the “perfect speech” in a week, write the “perfect novel” in a month, or create the “perfect product” in a year.
Achieving such goals takes time and commitment.
Learn to value your individuality
We often want to be like others.
To look like them, to live like them, to have what they have.
Instead of following the example of others or the so-called “experts” always listen to your inner voice.
Embrace your individuality and listen to your own thoughts, not those of others.
Not only will you have a chance to express yourself, but you will also have a chance to succeed.
You will also increase your chances of success.
You will learn to appreciate your imperfections.
And you will begin to rejoice in them.
Accept your imperfections and make your life work for you.
Always try to enjoy what you do
When you engage in a project or activity, your personal satisfaction must be your first priority.
Of course, not everything will work out right away.
Life is unpredictable.
But whatever happens, try to look on the bright side.
The perfect world does not exist.
Look at yourself in the mirror.
Instead of focusing exclusively on your imperfections and the mistakes you have made, focus on your positives and what you have done right.
Suddenly you will discover everything you can do better.
Look directly at your reflection and repeat to yourself :
“You are perfectly imperfect !”
