November 25, 2024 Reflections of a heretic
Always with a very intense will to live.
Quiet humanity. Conveys much more than you think

A distant and in a way “silent” humanity.
But one that actually conveys much more than one might think.
Because the simplest people are the ones who can give the most.
Today, for example, I read a message of hope on another website I found while surfing.
Of simplicity.
It came from an engaged couple, both with Down syndrome.
In the midst of their real problems of survival, they showed a desire for real love.
Not the kind that is very often extorted by appealing to “induced” sentimentality.
I was moved.
I realized how important it really is, especially today, to communicate one’s feelings and emotions.
To always communicate oneself.
With one’s mistakes.
Sometimes with (apparent) contradictions.
But always with a really intense will to live.
