December 22, 2024 Reflections of a heretic
Our society has accepted a decidedly unbalanced way of life.
Consumption, possession, intoxication to forget.
Social barriers

Social barriers are created when money, culture, personal beliefs, morals, political affiliations cause individuals or groups to erect fences to voluntarily “separate” themselves, to distinguish themselves from the majority, and to express an inherently negative judgment of others.
They used to require a physical presence on the land.
For example, the wealthy landowner with a magnificent mansion did not invite his peasants to parties.
But he did not care much about the other rich landowners who lived far away from him.
The first “organized” social barriers may have been (and still are) clubs, sports centers, or associations whose doors opened only upon presentation of two or more already registered members.
But only if one belonged to a “certain class”.
In some cases, one adopted a particular way of dressing, a common emblem, a badge, or a musical tune to “identify” oneself as belonging to that group.
In the end, however, it is not difficult to ignore social, cultural, religious, and geographical differences.
One only has to read a person’s answers or questions to understand where he or she comes from and what his or her cultural and social level is.
However, this does not prevent a relationship from being established.
Usually, friendship is established with a person who is at least somewhat related to us.
