Why they are still voting for failed policies today.

Stalin’s chicken. This is how most people are

During one of his meetings, Stalin asked for a chicken.
He picked it up firmly with one hand and began to pluck its feathers one by one with the other.

The hen, desperate with pain, tried to escape, but failed.
So he tore off all her feathers and said to his helpers :

Now watch what will happen“.

He placed the hen on the ground and walked away.
She clutched a handful of grain in her hand, while the astonished others watched as the hen, frightened, aching and bleeding, ran after Stalin as he threw fists of grain and entered the room.

The hen followed him everywhere.
Then Stalin looked at his aides, who were completely surprised, and said :

“This is how you rule, by appealing to people’s stupidity.
Did you see how he chased the chicken after me, despite the pain I caused him ?”

That’s how most people are : they follow their rulers and politicians, despite the pain they cause them, by simply receiving an economic gift, a stupid promise, or some food for a day or two”.

This is why they still vote for failed policies today.
