Tao, 3 Vital Practices : Health, Sexuality, Longevity

Tao, the primordial power that shapes all phenomena in the universe
The primordial power that shapes all phenomena in the universe…

The Tao is the primordial force that shapes all phenomena in the universe, from the infinitely large to the infinitely small.

Invisible yet ever-present, the Tao permeates the world with the very breath of life; and those who learn to harmonize with the Tao can harness this power to enhance and prolong their lives.

Although its principles were first formulated in words and symbols by the sages of ancient China some 5,000 years ago, the Tao predates human civilization and transcends all boundaries of space and time, race and culture, for it is the universal and eternal, the universal and enduring way of nature.

Thanks to the wisdom and insight of the ancient sages who gave birth to the oldest civilization in existence today, traditional Chinese culture evolved entirely around the Tao, and even today its principles underlie all of the classical Chinese arts, from philosophy to poetry, from calligraphy to cooking, from medicine to meditation.

In fact, it is more than just a philosophy of life, and the only way to gain practical benefits from it is to cultivate and practice it.
This was the goal of the ancient Chinese sages, who fortunately left us records of their progress along the way.

Today Western science is coming to the same conclusions.

However, although the conclusions are essentially the same, the poetic imagery and mundane allusions with which the Chinese sages explained their secrets are much easier to understand than the complex technical jargon favored by modern Western scientists.

The three practical aspects of the Tao that have always been of vital importance to all mankind are health, sex, and longevity.
All three are intimately related, and together they form the foundation of human happiness.
