December 12, 2024 Reflections of a heretic
Letting it go is definitely the best choice.
The normal world. This theater is not worth getting upset about

Consistency, fairness, and respect are dead values everywhere.
The norm of “banderolism” applies, whereby a fact is considered more or less serious depending on who commits it.
Even a more serious fact is demoted to a lower level if “the friend” commits it.
This is the normal world.
A rotten environment tout court, an open sewer.
Where even those who are only in contact with it rot.
I used to fully absorb this filth and became as rabid as a hydrophobic dog.
Of course, this little theater is not worth getting angry about.
The best thing is to cut off all contact and never go back.
Sure, I don’t have any sympathy now.
But if you have morals and ethics (both professional and personal), letting things go is definitely the best choice.
